Ibacon Webinar on XETA testing

XETA

transforming the approach to assessing
chemical for endocrine potential

The new Xenopus Eleutheroembryonic
Thyroid Assay (XETA)

offers an advance in the testing of endocrine disrupters and ibacon is proud to be the first CRO to offer this test GLP compliant.

Assessing chemicals for their endocrine potential is scientifically demanding. It requires specific expertise and high-tech laboratories and the whole process can take considerable time and financial investment.

XETA is a short-term assay that speeds up the whole testing procedure and can screen large numbers of chemicals very rapidly. It reduces both the timescale and cost while also offering an important step forward in the three R’s of animal testing - replacement, reduction and refinement.

During this webinar, ibacon experts will give an inside view on this new ecotoxicological test method for assessing potentially thyroid active chemicals.
