Sabrina Westphal appointed as Managing Director

ibacon’s shareholders recently appointed Sabrina Westphal as Managing Director of the company. Shareholders and the Management Board would like to congratulate Sabrina Westphal on her new position and express their delight at this result which, they firmly believe, aims ibacon securely on target for sustainable company development.

Sabrina Westphal has been leading ibacon’s Business Development department for four years. During this time, she has served as a Management Board member and has been involved in all management decisions and general company development. Her work represents a significant and important contribution to the success ibacon has achieved in recent years.

The new responsibility of Managing Director will maximise Sabrina Westphal’s effectiveness across all of ibacon’s business activities. Business development and client relationships will, of course, remain a core competence, expanding to encompass general company management and strategic development.

The composition of the Management Board remains unaffected, comprising Sabrina Westphal (CEO), Melanie Lichtenberger (Head of Test Facility), Sabine Haake-Thieser (Head of Finances & Personnel) and Ralf Petto (CEO). This allows us to sustain the continuity of our successful work of recent years and at the same time amplifies our competencies in management and leadership.

We are confident that ibacon’s business partners as well as all our colleagues within the company will benefit from this decision. We wish Sabrina Westphal both a successful start in her new position and a fruitful continuation of her current work.
