8 Website analysis
For the purposes of analyzing and optimizing our websites, we use various services as described below. For example, we can analyze how many users visit our site, which information is most sought after, or how users find our offerings. We collect data on which website a user came from (known as the referrer), which subpages of the site were accessed, and how often and for how long a subpage was viewed. This helps us design and improve our offerings in a user-friendly manner. The data collected is not used to personally identify individual users. We collect anonymous or, at most, pseudonymous data. The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest under Art. 6 Para. 1 f GDPR. This interest is to understand which content users are interested in, how users become aware of our website, and how our website is used, in order to better tailor our web offerings to user needs.
