Ibacon measures to protect our employees and to ensure our high quality services.

The world is facing a health crisis and preventive measures to limit the spread of the virus are of upmost importance to save human lives. Ibacon protects its employees and maintains its high quality services and availability. Ibacon achieved this by the early implementation of company-wide measures; of which, the most important aspect is the limitation of personal contacts.
Ibacon already offered the possibility to work remotely for decades. Many of our employees took advantage of this possibility to work from home. In person meetings are replaced by video conferences, and all business trips and visits have been cancelled. External services are only allowed when vital to our operations. Our staff, that has to work on site, keeps a distance of two meters if personal contact is inevitable and respects routine hygienic measures. Small groups were defined within each department to work independently from each other. This offers us redundancy and greater protection of our staff. All these organisational measures contribute to stay healthy.

A few weeks into the situation, we can see some first outcome. Our technical and IT infrastructure is reliable, working fast; thus allowing an efficient and high quality working environment.

We realise that personal contacts and face to face meetings are valuable for all, colleagues, costumers and visitors. We will thrive to resume these in-person contacts as soon as we can ensure that they are safe for everyone.
