Early Life Stage Fish Test as a Basis for Data Modelling

29th August 2017 - 29th September 2017

Ecological modelling is a valuable tool for the assessment of specific exposure scenarios.

The results of early-life stage studies with fish can be used to inform mechanistic effect models. Then the models can simulate various exposure scenarios. This offers the opportunity to analyse e.g. the effects of different numbers of pulses or different strengths of pulse. By this means we can analyse the effects of different exposure scenarios that cannot be tested for ethical, practical or financial reasons.
