Meet our modelling team at the symposium on Dynamic Energy Budget theory

5th international symposium on Dynamic Energy Budget theory (31.05. - 02.06.2017)
The title of the conference is “Metabolic organization plays a role in planetary stewardship".
Life is based on metabolic organization. A theory for metabolic organization is the dynamic energy budget (DEB) theory. It enables understanding and quantifying metabolic organization. Metabolic organization is the basis of life and therefore of ecosystem services. In the focus of this conference are further development and application of the DEB theory in the context of ecosystem based approaches.
Modelling tools based upon the DEB theory can help to make more realistic environmental risk assessments or answer questions that standard testing cannot address because of technical limitations for example.
Dr. Elke Zimmer and Roland Kuhl will be attending the conference in Tromsø, Norway. They are looking forward to meeting you!
